recording sounds is a love of mine, i love to sit with a microphone and record lots of different sounds, either being bees, electric shocks, water or recording a band. there is something about recording that makes me think more and more.

the whole basis of this album was to create tracks which were only made up of one single sound source, say, a track made of light bulbs, or another made up of a dvd disk. to record everything from electricutions, to breaking, to lights being turned on, there was alot that went into it, and i am still very happy with the outcome of everything.

this, at the time was one of my most creative moments, it got me to do the two things i love more than anything, recording sounds and then taking those sounds to make something completely new in my music.

some things were quite pain staking to do. it is very hard to tune a drinking glass, or even the sounds of a concrete wall. but none-the-less it was extremely fun. one path i will consider coming back later on. it created sounds that i was aiming for, but also came out with many more which even surprised myself.
the tracks were listed with 'aka' titles. i wanted people to know what i used for the tracks.

i hope you enjoy this album, much in the same way i enjoyed recording it.
